This measurement is different from the one you might know from classic size charts, but it’s the most accurate way to find your perfect fit.
Grab a tape measure.
Stand with your feet hip-width apart.
Locate your sacrum - the flat bone just above your buttocks.
Place the start of the tape measure there.
Follow the illustration: measure yourself diagonally under your belly.
Use the number you just measured and match it to the size chart.
If your number falls between two sizes, choose the smaller one. Hugup fabric has a bit of stretch and adapts with you.

Start by taking measurements. Place the tape measure from the sacrum just above the buttocks, diagonally under the belly, to the front. Then match your number to the chart on our Size guide. You’ll also find pregnancy months as a rough guide, but your current measurement matters most.
If you're between sizes, go for the smaller one. The fabric is soft and stretchy, and adapts as you grow.
And if you’d rather we help you, just schedule a call with our expert. We’ll work it out together.
When Hugup fits well, it feels like gentle support. Not too tight, not too loose.
Here’s what to look for:
It should feel like a gentle lift from underneath. Light and supportive, never tight or bulky.
You’ll know it’s right when:
If it feels bulky or holds you back, it’s worth adjusting or trying a different size.
The hem should sit just below your buttocks. If you want to see how it looks when it’s right, watchthis short video.
Use the small loop at the bottom and the tab at the top to guide the zipper. This makes it easier to close, even with a bump in the way. You can also watchhow to zip up your Hugup easilyfor a quick demo.
